Thinking about my logo design, I want it to be able to reflect my website and how I think it should represent. After reading over the articles I got a pretty good idea about how I would like my design to be laid out. Since my website is structured around marriage and living intentionally, I want to be able to incorporate both an image and my website name into the design. The first thing I thought of was my wedding ring. This is the most symbolic thing for marriage and shows loyalty, commitment, and love.

With this the colors that stuck out were gold and purple. Gold represents not only the color of my ring, but also wealth. Wealth in my sense is happiness and love. Purple to me is a more intimate color and is also my favorite color that pairs well together. Another idea that I had for my logo would be to do a word mark logo wrapped in a circle with a diamond above the I. I would also include an image of a tied knot to represent marriage.

The main symbol I want to use is a diamond ring. I wanted to emphasis the marriage part and make it easy to identity as well. A big part I wanted to get across with my logo is unity.  I also want to use letter marks in my logo. My website name is long, so shortening the name into initials would work best and be more simplistic.

Some brands that came to mind as an inspiration were Hallmark, because of their color combo, and how simplistic yet endearing it makes the logo look. That, along with the font style as well. Another major brand that I thought was somewhat of an inspiration was different jewelry companies such as Zales. Their logo is a letter mark logo with a certain font style that sticks out. It is also short in name and has a diamond incorporated into it.
